Marina of Cala dell'acqua

Cala dell’Acqua Marina project is situated on the north-west coast of Ponza Island. The aim of the project is to have the slightest impact on the natural and marine environment which is very valuable. The outer breakwater represent the extension from South to North of the Punta Corte promontory, for a length of about 430 m. The inner breakwater starts from Punta Papa promontory. The marina provides all necessary services. The project is very innovative with the prevision of a water renaturation system and of a photovoltaic platform roof above the parking lot making the marina energetically self-sufficient.
